Job description

About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Club located at Westover Air Reserve Base, Massachusetts.

The position is a flexible position, which means you are not guaranteed hours or benefits but could work anywhere between 0 and 40 hours per week. Flex employees will be eligible for the use of the fitness center, lodging, and other activities. Position requires working irregular schedules, to include weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Duties

The purpose of this position is to perform routine manual duties in food preparation or food service areas.

Requirements

• This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
• Must be able to obtain a Food Handler’s Certificate and/or complete food handler's training.
• This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.

Qualifying Experience:

This is an entry level position, and no minimum qualification are required for this position. Ability to read and understand written material and be able to follow simple oral instructions. Ability to use hand tools for cleaning and operating simple machines. Ability to frequently lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds, and occasionally over 20 pounds with assistance. Ability to continuously stand, walk, stoop, reach, push and bend for long periods of time.
