OSF HealthCare is seeking a Food Service Worker to deliver a high quality dining experience and meet the dietary and nutritional needs of patients and staff. This role requires basic computer skills, fluency in English, and a High School Diploma or GED.
Up to six months of customer service experience is preferred; certification as a Certified Food Handler within 30 days of hire may be required for Illinois facilities.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.
POSITION SUMMARY: The Food Service Worker provides a high quality dining experience by delivering dietary and nutritional needs to those we serve. Maintains sanitation and cleanliness of kitchen utensils, equipment, cafeteria, dining room, and assigned work area. Practices safe food handling processes while receiving, storing, preparing and serving food throughout the operation.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic computer competency specific to software navigation. Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: High School Diploma or GED. 6 months of experience in customer service. Licensure/Certifications: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for facilities in Illinois.
