Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Diet Clerk to ensure high quality dining experiences for patients and staff by meeting nutritional requirements and service standards. This hourly position requires a Fast, accurate, friendly approach to food service in a healthcare setting.

Fluent English, a High School Diploma or GED, and 6 months in food service or healthcare food service are preferred. Certification as a Food Handler within 30 days of hire is required for Illinois facilities.

Expected pay for this position is $17.00 - $18.89/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently Licensure/ Certifications: Certified Food Handlers Certification within 30 days of hire for facilities in Illinois.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School Diploma or GED Experience: 6 months in food service and/or health care food service Other Skills/Knowledge: Basic computer operation experience Prior order processing system experience.
