A food service equipment company is seeking a full-time Field Mechanic to troubleshoot and repair bakery and food service equipment in the Greater Chicago Area. Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of related experience, a High School Diploma, and strong troubleshooting skills. We are looking for a full time technician who can troubleshoot and repair bakery & food service equipment such as ovens, burners, proofers, panwasher, etc.

Details

Position: Field Mechanic

Position Type: Full Time

Total Hours: 40+hours

Experience: 1-2 Years Experience

Duties

Understand control wiring and troubleshoot related electrical problems

Make general mechanical repairs such as replacement of bearings, sprockets, chains

Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair bread production equipment in field environment

Complete written reports

Servicing customers in Greater Chicago Area

Requirements

· Minimum High School Diploma (or GED)

· General knowledge of HVAC

· Commercial or residential cooking equipment repair experience

· A good driving record

· Maintenance experience helpful

· We will train individuals with a strong electrical and mechanical background
