Job summary

Mercy St. Louis Food Service is seeking a Food Service Worker I to support non-cooking tasks in a hospital dining setting, including washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier duties, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning.

Shift is from 5:00 am to 1:30 pm at Mercy St. Louis. This role emphasises patient and guest interactions, teamwork, and maintaining quality service in a busy hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-related environment/industry.
• Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
• Certifications: None
• Other: Maintains relationships with patients and customers to attain quality satisfaction with food. Is courteous, considerate, and cooperative when communicating with all patients, guests, team members, and hospital personnel.
