Job summary

Mercy St. Louis seeks a Food Service Worker I to perform non-cooking duties including washing dishes, cold prep, salad production, serving, cashier tasks, tray passing, loading carts, and general cleaning and receiving. This is a full-time role with evening and weekend shifts (12:30 pm – 9:00 pm) at Mercy St.

Louis, Saint Louis, MO. Preferred candidates have a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of service-related work experience, plus the ability to read, write, and speak

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a service-related environment.
• Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Must read, write, and speak English.
• Able to work with a variety of foods and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Washes dishes and performs non-cooking duties.
• Cold prep and salad production.
• Serves customers and handles cashier tasks.
• Passes trays, loads carts, and assists with general cleaning and receiving.

Preferred Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Preferred Work Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service-related environment/industry.
