Job summary

Target is hiring a Food Service Team Leader to deliver exceptional guest experiences, lead a team of hourly associates, and drive daily operations. The role focuses on customer service, training, and ensuring food safety and accurate inventory across the food and beverage areas of the store.

You will plan workloads, coach team members, and participate in hiring and onboarding while upholding Target standards and safety protocols in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in retail or food service is preferred.
• Strong customer service and leadership skills required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments and maintain a friendly store atmosphere.
• Lead a team of hourly associates, including interviewing, training, coaching and development.
• Plan daily/weekly workload to support sales and guest engagement.
• Ensure food safety, inventory accuracy and proper merchandising standards.
• Lead and participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
• Maintain store standards and safety compliance, including incident response and security protocols.
