Job summary

Target in South Carolina is seeking a Food Service Team Leader to guide daily operations in the Food & Beverage area and lead a team of hourly associates. You will ensure guest experience commitments, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards.

The role requires strong communication, teamwork and the ability to coach and develop staff. This full-time position includes competitive benefits, training and career growth within Target.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure every team member is trained and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments.
• Actively observes and provides feedback, holding team members accountable while recognizing great moments.
• Review area guest, financial, and team outcome metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvement.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals and guest engagement.
• Lead a team to uphold brand standards and production specifications where applicable.
• Assist with back-of-house operations, inventory management, and ordering as needed.
• Participate in hiring, onboarding, and setting clear goals with direct supervision.
