Job summary

Target is seeking a Food Service Team Leader to supervise hourly team members, ensure guest experience commitments, and manage daily workload in a fast-paced retail environment. You will uphold food safety standards and train staff to meet brand expectations across Food & Beverage operations.

You will lead hiring and onboarding, coach team members, and work toward continuous improvement while complying with safety policies and store procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the food service business.
• Lead and hold others accountable.
• Effective communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver guest experience commitments daily.
• Ensure every team member understands and delivers Target’s guest commitments.
• Observe and provide feedback, holding team members accountable.
• Review metrics to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
• Plan and execute daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals.
• Assign daily tasks to team members according to priorities.
• Maintain food safety and proper inventory levels with guidance.
• Lead and demonstrate brand standards and production specs.
