Job summary

Target is seeking a Food Service Team Leader to drive guest experience and store operations on the Food & Beverage team. You will lead a team of hourly associates, train staff, and coordinate daily tasks to ensure freshness, accurate inventory, and strong sales performance.

You will be responsible for maintaining food safety standards, coordinating with leadership, and supporting a safe, inclusive, and efficient work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Retail experience preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication skills and guest service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver guest experience commitments to create an Easy, Inspiring and Friendly guest experience.
• Ensure team understands and delivers on Target’s guest experience commitments and operations.
• Lead and coach hourly team members, including interviewing, training, and evaluating performance.
• Manage daily/weekly workload to meet sales goals and staffing needs.
• Monitor food safety, inventory levels and back-of-house operations to ensure quality and freshness.
• Follow safety procedures, enforce standards, and participate in hiring and onboarding processes.
