Job summary

Core-Mark International is seeking a Food Service Support Representative to develop and promote foodservice initiatives by partnering with the local sales team and customers. You will educate current and prospective customers on entering the foodservice business or expanding existing programs with strong leadership and brand knowledge.

A successful candidate will stay abreast of food service trends, contribute to vendor and customer quality, and lead discussions with enthusiasm.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in foodservice industry (food brokerage, equipment sales, or chef background).
• Minimum of 2 years of customer-facing sales and project management.
• Ability to travel daily within the assigned territory; some overnight travel.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

Responsibilities

• Facilitate the implementation of new and existing food programs, including demonstrations, recipe development, documentation, and equipment needs.
• Provide in-field training and consult with strategic accounts on growth strategies for foodservice.
• Educate customers on foodservice practices and trends; maintain knowledge of products and promotions.
• Build and maintain relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal partners.
• Conduct weekly field visits with suppliers and sales team to identify opportunities and present Food Service Programs.
• Participate in regional trade shows for all food-related initiatives.
