Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff inside a jail/correctional facility, preparing and serving meals according to menus and recipes using standard equipment.

You report to the Food Service Director and work on-site with shifts 3:00 AM–11:00 AM and 10:00 AM–6:00 PM. The ideal candidate shows teamwork, adaptability, and knowledge of food safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; must be at least 18.
• Preferred institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food and portion meals to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and meet physical demands of the shift.
