Job summary

AVI Foodsystems is seeking a Supervisor at Goshen College in Goshen, IN. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with some weekend work. The candidate will oversee front end production and ensure safety, grooming, and policy compliance.

Ideal applicants bring culinary/foodservice experience, strong customer service, and proven leadership abilities, with proficiency in Microsoft Office. A team-driven, energetic mindset is valued.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary/foodservice experience.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Successful team leadership experience.
• Moving, bending, stooping, lifting and standing on a frequent basis.
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Oversee front end production.
• Follow opening procedures, including opening and handling cash drawers.
• Comply with all policies and procedures, including but not limited to food and physical safety programs.
• Communicate any issues of concern to management (i.e. customer issues, cleanliness, safety concerns or security concerns).
• Follow all safety requirements at accounts.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards.
• Perform any other duties as specified by management.
