You will supervise staff, schedule shifts, train crew on sanitation and safety, manage stock and merchandising, and ensure quality control to meet service targets in a permanent, full-time role (35 hours/week).

Qualifications

• Secondary School education is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in food service.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage.
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Supervise, co-ordinate and schedule the activities of staff who prepare, portion and serve food.
• Estimate and order ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation.
• Ensure that all product and packaging is properly merchandised and stocked.
• Provides orientation and monitors new team members.
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
• May participate in the selection of food service staff and assist in the development of policies, procedures and budgets.
