Job summary

Aramark is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead a dynamic team within our Food Services operation in West Lafayette, IN. You will oversee staff, coordinate daily activities, and ensure food safety in line with Aramark policies.

Occasional night and weekend catering events may be required. In this role you will maintain production schedules, inventory, and training, while promoting teamwork and excellent public relations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities and supervise employees.
• Maintain food safety and quality according to policies.
• Ensure safe, organized storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules and menu adherence.
• Maintain a sanitary department in line with health codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory records.
• Support catering events and ensure on-time delivery.
• Train and mentor other food service workers.
• Manage maintenance logs and equipment checks.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs and take corrective action.
• Promote good public relations and teamwork.
