Job summary

Aramark is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead a dedicated team in our Indianapolis area operations. You will help oversee staff, collaborate with teammates, and support smooth daily operations under the direction of a manager.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and customer service in a fast-paced food service environment. You will be responsible for scheduling, inventory, and maintaining compliance with Aramark policies while mentoring staff and coordinating catering events

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce staff schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production that ensures safety and quality according to policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of food items in a clean, organized environment.
• Maintain serving schedules and ensure items follow menu specs and Aramark policies.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes.
• Maintain weekly inventory records.
• Oversee catering events and ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; foster growth, efficiency and teamwork.
• Promote a safe working environment and train/mentor staff.
• Maintain equipment logs and assist with maintenance as needed.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Support management in meetings and communications with staff.
