You will prepare and serve meals according to recipes, train staff, ensure sanitation, and maintain a clean kitchen while working 8–10 hour shifts between 5:00am and 6:00pm, with weekend/holiday availability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, 18+ years old.
• Preferred: institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays.
• Hours 5:00am – 6:00pm and 8–10 hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Supervise inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during shifts.
• Prepare and assist in food preparation according to recipes and menus.
• Ensure food is stored properly and sanitary.
• Serve meals according to schedules and policies.
• Use utensils and equipment to cook and portion meals.
• Follow food safety regulations for sanitation and storage.
• Train other food service workers.
• Maintain a clean work area, including equipment and floors.
• Uphold facility uniform policy and safety standards.
