Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to manage inmate labor and lead kitchen operations inside the Seneca County Jail in New York. The role involves preparing and serving meals, supervising staff, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site inside a correctional facility. A high school diploma or GED and prior institutional food service experience are required; 21+ age is also required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and 21+ years old.
• Prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift/move items.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook and portion food as per recipes and nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment.
