$48,000.00/yr - $57,000.00/yr
Rotating schedule 7:30am – 3:30pm. In the absence of the Assistant Director, will be required to work 5:30am- 1:30pm.
Supervise kitchen and tray line staff in food preparation and service. Ensure food safety and cleanliness following HACCP and Health Department standards. Oversee food service for patients and the cafeteria. Maintain temperature logs and portion controls. Communicate with cafeteria and chef managers regarding food quality. Function as Manager in charge during weekends and opening/closing shifts. Support and participate in implementing new food service programs. Enforce policies, including Clean as You Go and standard hygiene protocols. Perform clerical duties in the diet office.
Demonstrate effective communication with diverse patient populations. Practice infection control and confidentiality standards. Maintain professional appearance and punctuality. Complete mandatory training and embody Burke’s C.A.R.E.S. values. Perform other duties as assigned.
