FiveStar Food Mart in Scottsville, KY is seeking an Assistant Food Service Manager to support the Food Service Manager in maintaining continuous service operations. You will help ensure top customer service and food service standards while on duty.

The role involves supervising staff, adhering to sanitation and safety regulations, managing inventory, and coordinating with management on promotions and schedules.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Knowledge of food service equipment is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management.
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude.

Responsabilidades

• Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
• Partners with management team to ensure FiveStar customer service in the food service area.
• Stay up to date on health and food safety regulations such as sanitation, storage, rotation, expirations, preparation, cooking, thawing, temperatures, etc.
• Follow policies regarding inventory control and ordering, food quality, equipment maintenance and cleaning, and production guides for food preparation.
• Communicate with management on emails, weekly and monthly specials, and company-wide programs.
• Responsible for merchandising including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
• Promote company food service promotions.
• Collaborate with management to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
