Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Food Supervisor at UTMB HEALTH - UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS MEDICAL BRANCH in Galveston to coordinate daily food operation activities across fast casual, cafeterias, events, and cafes.

You will provide oversight at the direction of management on-site to coordinate routine work activities of service employees engaged in food operations, including but not limited to fast casual, coffee/counter service, cafeterias, events/banquets, casual dining and cafes.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of related work experience in food service or similar.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain a safe and healthy working environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide oversight of daily service operations on-site.
• Assist management in daily oversight of key functions and employees.
• Ensure safety and compliance within the facility.
• Train and orient staff; support customer satisfaction.
• Attend scheduled shifts and report on-time.
