Job summary

Trinity Services Group Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen teams inside a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve items per recipes and supervise staff during shifts, reporting to a Food Service Director.

Ideal candidates are passionate about food, understand food handling regulations, and adapt quickly to changes. The role emphasizes teamwork, continuous learning, and flexibility in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Preference for prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes and serve portions to meet nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for employees and inmates.
• Stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks as required.
