Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee inmate labor and kitchen staff in a correctional facility. You will prepare and serve meals, follow recipes and menus, and ensure compliance with food handling regulations.

You will report to a Food Service Director and work on-site inside the jail/correctional environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food service, a team player, and adaptable to change with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or GED and minimum age of 18.
• Preferred experience in institutional food service or restaurant operations.
• Must meet the job's physical and safety requirements as described.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and kitchen team during food prep and service.
• Serve meals according to schedules and procedures.
• Cook and portion food using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy, safe work environment for staff and inmates.
• Stand, lift and move as required during long shifts.
