Appointment Incentive!

**This position qualifies for an appointment incentive of $5,000, to the selected applicant who agrees to work for the facility for a minimum of twelve (12) months**

Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital is searching for a dedicated Food Service Supervisor to be a part of our team!

Under general supervision, this position performs work at the full performance level, planning and directing the preparation and service of food in the Hospital. Supervises and assigns duties to cooks, bakers, food service workers, and other positions assigned to the area; schedules workers’ shifts, works with the Nutritionist to prepare special diets, and performs related work as assigned. Must be able to work holidays and weekends. Mandatory overtime is an essential function of this position.

This is a tobacco-free facility. Chosen applicants must successfully complete a chemical urinalysis and breath analysis drug and alcohol screening test. All employees shall be subject to drug and alcohol testing for probable cause as set forth in Agency and Bureau policies. Applicantsmust successfully pass a background screening.

Minimum Qualifications

1. Education: High school diploma or the equivalent.
2. Licensure/Certifications: None.
3. Experience: Two (2) years of full-time or equivalent part-time paid experience in large-scale food preparation and service.
4. Internal Applicants: Two (2) years of experience as a Food Service Worker may substitute for the required experience.

Mildred Mitchell-Bateman Hospital, located in Huntington, West Virginia, is a 110-bed psychiatric hospital owned and operated by the West Virginia Department of Health Facilities.
