Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Worker to oversee inmate labor and support the correctional kitchen operations onsite. The role involves preparing and serving meals, training staff, and maintaining safety standards within the facility.

Weekend and holiday availability is required, with shift from 9am to 5:30pm and every 4th weekend off. A $1,500 hiring bonus and DailyPay help with upfront earnings.

Qualifications

• We require a high school diploma or GED, and that you are at least 18 years of age.
• We prefer prior institutional food service or restaurant experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage inmate labor and team members in the kitchen during food prep and food service shifts in the kitchen.
• Serve food during planned meal schedules and according to department procedures.
• Use kitchen utensils/equipment to cook food according to recipes. Use proper utensils to serve menued portions to meet clients' nutritional needs.
• Train other food service workers.
• Promote a healthy and safe work environment for other employees/inmates.
• Be able to stand and be on your feet for much of the scheduled shift.
• Other responsibilities as determined by our needs.

About This Position

The Food Service Worker oversees inmate labor and team members assisting with the food service operation in a correctional facility. You will also prepare and serve a variety of food items following assigned work instructions and menus and use a variety of food preparation utensils and machines in preparing food.

You will report to a Food Service Director.You will work onsite inside of a jail/correctional facility.
