We're seeking the right candidate for the position of Food Service Supervisor at THIS Community Care Center. In this vital role, you'll ensure that our residents receive the highest level of care while collaborating with a dedicated team, providing exceptional clinical leadership and support.

Essential Qualifications:
- Monitor food quality and portion control to maintain high standards of nutrition and satisfaction among residents.
- Oversee meal service to ensure residents receive timely and appropriate meals according to their individualized dietary plans.
- This position requires flexible hours/days, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Assist in assigning specific jobs and spot checking to ensure standards are met.
- Ensure that all policies and procedures related to safety and health are followed, including MSDS information, safe work practices, infection control, and universal precautions.
- Promote teamwork within the department and between departments to ensure smooth operations and quality service.
- Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of written dining room service objectives and standards of practice with procedures for implementation.
- Assist in staff education for dining room personnel in accordance with the staff education plan, and provide job training for dining room staff.
- Ensure dining room service complies with all local, federal, and state regulations concerning service, sanitation, and personnel.
- Conduct daily pre-shift meetings, in-service training, and tailored training courses.
- Inspect pantries and equipment to determine repair or maintenance needs and cleanliness.
- Attend in-service training/meetings and ensure monthly education sessions through Relias are completed on time as assigned.
- Audit pantry service offerings and initiate improvements with the dietary manager.
- Perform specific duties and responsibilities as assigned by the manager.
