Job summary

Kingsville ISD Food Service is seeking a substitute to support daily meal preparation and serving in district kitchens. You will follow recipes, portion foods, and work under moderate supervision to ensure menu requirements are met while upholding safety and sanitation standards.

Starting date is immediate; the role is hourly at $12 per hour. This substitute position offers exposure to kitchen operations and basic equipment handling within a school food service program.

Qualifications

• Have a valid Health Card.
• Ability to understand written and verbal food preparation and safety instructions.
• Working knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production procedures.
• Ability to operate large and small kitchen equipment and tools.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Reading and following recipes.
