Job summary

CD Okemos 10, LLC (dba Mugg&Bopps) is seeking a Food Service Store Manager to lead daily operations, ensure quality, guest satisfaction, staffing, food safety, and profitability in our store. You will hire, train, coach, and schedule staff; monitor food costs, inventory, sanitation, and equipment; and drive promotions and menu initiatives.

The role requires a high school diploma, food safety certification, 2+ years of food service management, and flexibility for early mornings, nights, weekends

Qualifications

• A High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education preferred.
• Must have a valid food safety certification and relevant experience in food service management.
• 2+ years of food service management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

The Food Service Store Manager is responsible for overall performance of the food service operation, including product quality, guest satisfaction, staffing, training, food safety compliance, inventory control, and profitability.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead daily food service operations to achieve sales and profitability goals.
• Hire, train, coach, and evaluate food service associates.
• Develop schedules and manage labor costs according to budget and business needs.
• Ensure compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health code requirements.
• Maintain consistent product quality, recipe adherence, and portion control.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education preferred.
• 2+ years of food service management experience preferred.
• Food safety certification required.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Stand/walk for extended periods; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot/cold environments; exposure to ovens, fryers, and refrigeration.
• Perform cleaning tasks including mopping and sanitizing equipment.
