CD Okemos 10, LLC (dba Mugg&Bopps) in Brighton, MI is seeking a Food Service Store Assistant Manager to support daily operations under the Food Service Store Manager.

You will supervise staff, ensure food safety and quality, manage inventory and waste, assist with scheduling, deposits, and guest service, and stand in as Manager-on-Duty when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior food service experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Food safety certification required or must be obtained within a set timeframe.
• Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Position Summary

The Food Service Store Assistant Manager supports the Food Service Store Manager in daily operations, including staff supervision, food safety compliance, inventory control, and maintaining quality standards for all food products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising and training food service associates.
• Support scheduling and labor coverage based on business needs.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards, health codes, and company procedures.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Stand for long periods; frequent lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Work in hot/cold environments including ovens, grills, and coolers.
• Frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
