Job summary

AdventHealth in Littleton, CO is seeking a PRN food service teammate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records. You will assist with high-volume service, maintain sanitation, monitor temperatures, and rotate stock to ensure safety.

You will collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery. Prior healthcare or food service experience and ServeSafe certification are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent verbal interpersonal and customer relations skills.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Proficient keyboarding and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals per production records.
• Review pull sheets and organize ingredients for service periods.
• Maintain clean, sanitary kitchen and ensure health standards and temperature checks.
• Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock.
• Collaborate with managers and teammates to meet goals and support delivery.

Job Description

Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to ensure quality and temperature standards. Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures according to regulatory requirements. Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste. Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery. Other duties as assigned.
