Job summary

AdventHealth in Castle Rock, CO is seeking a full-time Food Service Associate to prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records. You will assist with advance prep, organize ingredients for high‑volume periods, and ensure quality and safety standards are met.

Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen, manage inventory, and support efficient food service delivery by collaborating with managers and teammates in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.
• 1+ year in food service, healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Strong reading/writing and communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals following production records.
• Review pull sheets and organize ingredients for upcoming service periods.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment and record temperatures per requirements.
• Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating and rotating stock to minimize waste.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals.

Job Description:

Prepare patient, retail, and catering meals by following culinary production records, including short-order and batch cooking to ensure quality and temperature standards. Execute advance prep tasks by reviewing pull sheets and organizing ingredients for upcoming service periods and high-volume production needs. Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment, ensuring all equipment and surfaces meet health standards and recording temperatures according to regulatory requirements. Manage inventory by sorting, labeling, dating, and rotating stock to support food safety and minimize waste. Collaborate with managers and team members to meet operational goals, communicate needs, and support efficient food service delivery. Other duties as assigned.
