Job summary

MFA Petroleum Company is seeking Break Time Food Service Shift Leads to help manage Break Time Convenience Store Food Service programs. You will ensure food safety, prepare items according to recipes, and provide fast, friendly service during assigned shifts.

You will work with store management to supervise employees, maintain clean conditions, and help control inventory and losses while complying with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability which may include weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation to work.
• Ability and willingness to attend adequate food safety training and obtain a Food Handler’s Card or equivalent certifications.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Working with customers— greet and thank each customer and provide fast and friendly service; handle complaints quickly and courteously; conduct accurate and efficient transactions.
• Merchandising and sales— Promote sales using suggestive selling techniques.
• Food preparation— Follow guidelines, recipes, and job aides for proper preparation and execution of all food service programs; monitor time and temperatures, cleanliness, rotation, and pricing.
• Maintaining a clean environment— Ensure equipment and areas are clean; enforce standards for quality, service, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Supervising— Assist in managing food service operations including profitability and expense control; train and oversee employees.

Education
