Job Description: We are seeking a motivated and experienced Food Service Sales Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for driving sales and expanding our market presence within the food service industry. You will work closely with restaurants, catering companies, and wholesale businesses to promote and sell our products, ensuring customer satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the food service sector.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the benefits of our products.
- Upsell or cross-sell additional products to existing customers.
- Close deals and ensure all paperwork and contracts are completed accurately and timely.
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support, promptly addressing inquiries or concerns.
- Utilize NetSuite to manage leads, opportunities, and customer information.
- Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to network with potential customers and industry professionals.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop promotional materials and campaigns.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the company's products and offerings.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts to management.
Qualifications:
- Proven success as a Sales Representative in the food service industry or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of solid sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the food service market.
- Superior communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as an integral part of a team.
- Goal-oriented with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Proficient in using Netsuite or other CRM and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree a plus.
