Goodwill Great Lakes is seeking an Assistant Manager of Food Service Operations to oversee galley dining areas, ensure cleanliness, proper food preparation, and service. You will supervise 20–100 workers and temporary staff daily, with PM and AM shifts available to cover operations at Naval Station Great Lakes, IL.

The role requires two years of college or equivalent plus at least 5 years of experience, ServSafe certification, and the ability to manage a sizable hourly workforce.

Qualificações

• Must pass the ServSafe test and maintain qualification.
• Experience supervising 20–100 food service workers.
• Strong leadership and training abilities are required.
• Able to manage shift operations and ensure quality standards within contract requirements.

Responsabilidades

• Ensure meals are prepared and served per contract requirements.
• Inspect dining areas and galley for cleanliness and sanitary conditions.
• Train and supervise new hires and the assigned staff.
• Prepare daily work assignments for employees.
• Complete required forms and documentation timely.
• Contribute to project work and continuous improvement within the unit.
