Job summary

SSA Group is seeking an Assistant Food Service Operations Manager to lead front-line hospitality and food service teams in a dynamic environment. You will help implement operational systems, train staff, and monitor quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

This role focuses on front-of-house operations, merchandising, and collaboration with client staff. The position requires strong leadership, problem-solving, and financial oversight, with a commitment to a safe, clean, and welcoming workplace.

Qualifications

• Two years of operations management experience, dependent on sales.
• ServSafe or Food Handling Certified.
• All education backgrounds eligible; must be 18 or older.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 lbs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliver warm, welcoming guest experiences and support operational systems and policies.
• Assist in season planning for food concepts, equipment needs and excellence.
• Support payroll, budgeting, and controllable profit within guidelines.
• Ensure safety, cleanliness, and staff training per handbook and SSA policies.
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure timely vendor payments.
