Qualifications

• Two years minimum experience in food production and supervising staff.
• Certifications in food handling and allergen management are preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and inspections.

Responsibilities

• Travel 25-50% with occasional overnight stays.
• Monitor food preparation methods, portions, and presentation for quality.
• Investigate and resolve complaints about quality, service, or accommodations.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete and submit all required paperwork promptly as directed.
• Assist with interviewing, hiring, training, and supervising food service staff.
• Perform regular kitchen inspections across locations as needed.
• Conduct bi-annual inventories of supplies and equipment at all sites.
• Help ensure kitchens are fully staffed and operations run smoothly.
• Administer and review performance evaluations for food service staff.
• Disciplinary actions as needed.
• Meet physical demands of a busy kitchen (lift up to 50 lbs occasionally).
• Develop and deliver training sessions to raise operation and service standards.
• Attend at least one training course annually for job development.
• Communicate information clearly and effectively.
• Ensure program operations comply with CARF/DMH standards and plans.
