Job summary

FLIK Hospitality, part of Compass Group USA, is seeking a Senior Food Service Operations Manager to oversee back and front of house operations, maintain a high‑quality culinary program, and manage financial reporting, inventory, and purchasing.

You will develop menus, control labor and food costs, ensure sanitation standards, and lead hiring, coaching and training to build a strong team in a fast paced environment. This role emphasizes leadership, HACCP knowledge and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent professional experience.
• Five years progressive culinary management experience.
• Self-starter with multitasking ability.
• Positive attitude under pressure and ability to motivate team.
• Passion for excellence in food and service.
• Knowledge of HACCP controls and proper food storage/use.
• Purchasing, food storage and sanitation experience.
• P&L and financial reporting experience.
• Knowledge of budgets, labor costs, inventory controls.
• Strong leadership, coaching and training skills.
• Computer skills: MS Office and POS
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Safe and sanitary food handling principles.

Responsibilities

• Carries out supervisory responsibilities in line with policies and laws.
• Participates in employee meetings and training programs.
• Conducts safety, sanitation and maintenance programs.
• Maintains food cost while ensuring quality standards.
