Description
- Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
- Partners with management team to ensure FiveStar customer service in the food service area as outlined in company policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date and informed in all health and food safety regulations such as sanitation, storage, rotation, expirations, preparation, cooking, thawing, temperatures, etc.
- Stay informed about all company policies and procedures regarding food service, including inventory control, food quality, equipment maintenance, cleaning, accounting procedures, and food preparation guides.
- Follow up with General Managers on communications related to food service such as emails, weekly and monthly specials, and company-wide programs.
- Responsible for merchandising including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
- Promote company food service sales promotions.
- Collaborate with General Manager to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.

Description
General Summary: Food Service Managers partner with the General Manager in planning, supervising, and managing operations in the food service area of FiveStar. They are responsible for communication, merchandising, customer service, food safety, storage, preparation, sanitation, supervision, and training in food service areas.
Essential Job Duties
- Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
- Partner with management to ensure excellent customer service per company policies.
- Keep updated on health and food safety regulations.
- Follow company policies on inventory, food quality, equipment, and food prep.
- Coordinate with General Managers on communications and programs.
- Manage merchandising, signage, pricing, and presentation.
- Promote sales and marketing initiatives.
- Train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of food service experience
- At least 18 years old
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
- Basic Computer Skills
- Knowledge of food-service equipment
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management
- Team-oriented, customer-focused, honest, hardworking, with excellent attendance
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Daily physical activity including standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Work in cold environments and varying seasonal weather conditions
