Job summary

Wegmans in Liverpool, NY is seeking a Food Service Shift Leader for our Sub Shop. You will lead a fast-paced team, ensure product freshness, educate customers, and uphold Wegmans standards across merchandising and service. Availability includes mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years of work experience or a college degree, and the ability to learn quickly while delivering exceptional customer service in a dynamic retail setting. Competitive benefits apply.

• Focus on company standards regarding merchandising, highlighting quality, freshness and uniqueness of products

• Use passion and knowledge to educate team members and customers on product offerings

• Proactively approach customers, answer questions, help locate items and offer suggestions to complete their meals

Required Qualifications

• 1 or more years of work experience or a college degree

• Computer skills

• Experience leading a team

• Enthusiasm for and knowledge of relevant products

• Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new situations and subject matters
