Our primary focus is to create a great customer experience through exceptional service. As a Food Service Manager, you will need to be skilled in food management, stocking products, and maintaining a clean, safe retail environment. This position requires good communication and cash-handling skills and good personal grooming habits. Physical requirements include standing up to 8 hours during a shift.

Requirements

• Manage food service operations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance with federal and state requirements.
• Oversee daily operations and food preparation.
• Plan for and purchase food supplies.
• Ensure food in storage remains fresh and meets safety standards.
• Maintain proper sanitation procedures and safety standards during food preparation.
• Prepare and serve food, respond to customer preferences and complaints.
• Set product prices, approved by the Director of Store Operations.
• Purchase and maintain equipment such as refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves.
• Keep records of supplies and purchases.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the food service area.
• Perform daily dishwashing and garbage disposal.
• Assist with coffee and fountain area operations.

This position also requires the Food Service Manager to open the store, cook and prepare food, and work at the register until a Customer Service Associate is on duty to take over. The manager must also open the second register if needed to assist the Customer Service Associate on duty.
