Description
- Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
- Partners with management team to ensure FiveStar customer service in the food service area as outlined in company policies and procedures.
- Stay up to date and informed on all health and food safety regulations such as sanitation, storage, rotation, expirations, preparation, cooking, thawing, temperatures, etc.
- Stay current with company policies regarding food service, including inventory control and ordering, food quality, equipment maintenance and cleaning, accounting procedures, and food preparation standards.
- Follow up with General Managers on communications related to food service, including emails, weekly and monthly specials, and company-wide programs.
- Responsible for merchandising, including signage, pricing, freshness, and presentation of products.
- Promote company food service sales promotions.
- Collaborate with General Manager to train and supervise staff in food service responsibilities.

General Summary: Food Service Managers partner with the General Manager to plan, supervise, and manage operations in the food service area. They are responsible for communication, merchandising, customer service, food safety, storage, preparation, sanitation, supervision, and training.
Essential Job Duties:
- Proficient in Customer Service Representative responsibilities.
- Partner with management to ensure customer service standards are met.
- Maintain knowledge of health and food safety regulations.
- Adhere to policies on inventory, food quality, equipment maintenance, and food preparation standards.
- Coordinate with General Managers on communications and programs.
- Oversee merchandising and presentation of products.
- Implement food service sales promotions.
- Train and supervise staff in food service tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of food service experience.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Valid Driver’s License preferred.
- Basic computer skills.
- Knowledge of food-service equipment.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with good time management.
- Team-oriented, customer-focused, honest, hardworking, and reliable attendance.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Daily physical activities such as standing, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, squatting, climbing, walking, lifting up to 55 lbs., and working in cold environments.
- Ability to work in seasonal weather conditions.
