Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent retail training/education.
• Leading or supervisory experience desired.
• Food Manager Certification, ServSafe or NRFSP.
• Strong communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a food category expert in store.
• Ensure food operations are executed to maximize sales and reduce waste.
• Train and coach associates on food execution, production, replenishment, organization and customer service.
• Be the go-to person for questions about food products and services.
• Plan and execute in-store food sampling for employees and customers.
• Lead in-store training on new Foodservice programs.
• Maintain FIFO and rotate stock; ensure planograms are followed.
• Order or assist ordering to reduce out-of-stocks and shrink.
• Monitor shrink while maximizing foodservice profit.
• Collaborate with BUQAS training personnel to deliver programs.
• Uphold food safety practices and BUQAS standards.
• Conduct needs analysis and recommended actions based on BUQAS visits.
• Operate within budgeted expectations.
