Job summary

Circle K is seeking a Foodservice Trainer for Store 2746374 in Cottage Grove, MN. The role focuses on delivering foodservice training, maintaining product quality, and coaching associates to maximize sales and minimize waste. You will ensure planograms are followed, manage inventory, and uphold food safety standards in a fast-paced retail environment.

The ideal candidate has related supervisory experience, ServSafe/NRFSP certification, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Food safety certification (ServSafe or NRFSP) preferred.
Experience in training, leadership and team building.

Responsibilities

Serve as food category expert in store.
Ensure all food operations are executed to maximize sales and minimize waste.
Train and coach associates on food execution, production, replenishment, ordering, organization, sanitation and customer service.
Be the go-to person for food product questions.
Plan and execute food sampling for employees and customers.
Lead in-store training on new Foodservice programs.
Provide refresher training as needed.
Ensure foodservice areas are stocked and rotated using FIFO.
Display food items per current BUQAS planogram.
Assist in ordering food products to reduce out-of-stocks and shrink.
Monitor shrink while improving sales to maximize foodservice profit.
Collaborate with BUQAS training personnel to deliver programs.
Maintain food safety practices and procedures.
Conduct needs analysis and provide recommended actions from BUQAS visits.
Operate within budgeted expectations.
