Job summary

Aramark is hiring a Food Service Worker in Temple, TX. You will assist with food prep, portioning meals, and serving customers under manager guidance, while embracing a positive attitude and teamwork.

Responsibilities include leading line operations, ensuring portion accuracy, maintaining logs, and upholding sanitation and safety standards across work stations and equipment. Prior experience in food service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Experience leading or supervising a small team is a plus.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification required or preferred.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience is preferred.
• Frequent lifting and transporting hot food items expected.
• Work in a kitchen with heat, steam, noise, and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in food preparation for the day and dating products.
• Set up and break down stations as directed by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions for served items.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of items before serving customers.
• Report items not meeting quality standards to management.
• Open/close station checklists completed.
• Greet customers at the serving line and gather feedback.
• Maintain a clean work station and sanitized utensils.
• Dispose of waste accurately and safely.
• Move supplies between storage and work areas.
• Participate in daily safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
• Complete tasks requested by supervisors or Aramark management.
• Lead line staff to ensure timely and effective service; coordinate sanitation support as needed.
