Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure the food service department is open and ready during operating hours.
• Provide prompt and courteous service to all customers.
• Communicate effectively with store associates.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
• Control food preparation to minimize waste while maintaining enough supply for customers.

Human Resources

• Treat all associates with dignity and respect.
• Report personnel issues or policy violations affecting store performance to the store manager.
• Assist in training new associates.

Security

• Follow all shift procedures.
• Maintain a safe shopping and working environment.
• Follow safety rules and use protective equipment.

Merchandising

• Use current plan-o-grams.
• Communicate any special needs to the manager.
• Alert the manager about ordering needs to prevent stockouts.

Huck’s Bucks Loyalty App

• Promote the app to customers.
• Explain benefits and assist with sign-up and usage.
• Monitor for misuse of points or discounts.

Maintenance

• Maintain appearance standards of food service areas.
• Ensure cleanliness of display cases and glass.
• Report maintenance issues to the manager.
• Follow sanitation procedures.

Safety

• Use ladders properly.
• Follow lifting procedures.
• Use wet floor signs when needed.
• Report accidents promptly.
