Job summary

Trinity Services Group is seeking a Food Service Director to oversee a single-site food service operation inside a correctional facility. You will manage an Assistant Food Service Director and/or a team of food service workers and cooks, ensuring safe, compliant operations and budget responsibility.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of management in food service, ServSafe certification, and knowledge of sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Five years of management or supervisory experience in a food service environment.
• ServSafe Certification.
• Experience applying kitchen sanitation and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversee quantities of food prepared and served per site plan.
• Hire, orient, train and issue corrective action to team members.
• Review payroll bi-weekly.
• Train staff to perform duties safely.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and prep planned menus.
• Ensure proper storage of food items and sanitary conditions.
• Maintain accurate onsite financial, production, and activity reports.
• Support state inspections of the food service operation.
• Maintain ServSafe Manager certification.
• Other duties as needed by the site.
