Job summary

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies and procedures in the dining service program in compliance with food service regulations.
• Monitors monthly expenditures.
• Directs and supervises all dietary functions and personnel.
• Responds to customer complaints per MS Dining protocol.
• Responsible for food purchase, production, and timely meal service.
• Ensures excellence in service and product quality.
• Creates and leads presentations at client meetings.
• Develops sanitation schedules and ensures cleaning adherence.
• Provides leadership and direction for timely decisions.
• Checks all room service trays for accuracy and neatness before delivery to residents’ apartments.
• Ensures work areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are stored properly.
• Prepares performance evaluations.
• Attends scheduled weekly manager’s meetings.
• Receives and resolves employee complaints.
• Inspects kitchen staff to ensure clean dress code at all times.
