Job summary

Lunds & Byerlys Downtown is hiring a vibrant and outgoing part-time Food Service Clerk to create a sensational shopping experience for our customers. The role offers a part-time schedule with a competitive wage of $16.50-$17.00 per hour.

We operate 7 days a week from 6:00am to 10:00pm. Shifts typically range from 11:00am–10:00pm, with responsibilities including greeting customers, preparing deli items, and maintaining department cleanliness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Minimum of one year experience in deli or food service.
• Ability to obtain Food Safety Certification.
• Communication skills and the ability to follow instructions are essential.

We operate 7 days/week and are open from 6:00am-10:00pm. For this position the employee would be scheduled a range of shifts between 11:00am-10:00pm

FOOD SERVICE CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting and assisting customers
• Slicing deli meats, cheeses, and breads
• Wrapping, weighing, and pricing deli items accurately
• Stocking, rotating, and staging deli merchandise to ensure quality and freshness
• Creating a welcoming and safe environment
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the department

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
