Job summary

Primrose School of Aldie is seeking a Food Service Support to join our team and help deliver nutritious meals to young learners. You will work with the chef to prepare healthy, kid-friendly foods and support teachers in the afternoon to create a nurturing learning environment.

You will promote healthy eating, manage allergy awareness, follow menus, and assist with ordering supplies, contributing to a warm, safe, and balanced school day for children aged preschool.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation and kitchen management.
• Knowledge of dietary requirements and food production.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging healthy eating habits through delicious and nutritious foods.
• Maintaining awareness of children with allergies and food restrictions.
• Following the daily menu prepared in collaboration with the Director.
• Assisting with ordering food and calculating the amount needed.
• Support a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment for children.
• Assist with age-appropriate lesson plans that are created for you.
