UPMC Susquehanna Green Home is hiring a part-time staff member

The successful candidate will be responsible for the timely assembly, final preparation, and service of nutritionally appropriate and attractive meals. Work hours typically include 6:00am-2:30pm, 11:00am-7:30pm, and 3:30pm-7:30pm, including every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure necessary food and service equipment/utensils are secured for the assigned area prior to meal service.
• Follow department procedures for operating all food service equipment.
• Perform additional duties based on facility/department requirements, such as inventorying and stocking supplies, serving patient meals with proper identification, bussing and sanitizing tables, delivering meals, and setting tables according to guidelines.
• Assemble and serve meals according to diet orders, menus, and specific requirements.
• Maintain food safety and quality standards mandated by health authorities.
• Adhere to hand hygiene and infection control procedures consistently.
• Perform sanitation of the work area in accordance with departmental and health department guidelines.
